SPM Biology 2009 – Tips and Predictions for Papers 4551/1 , 4551/2 and 4551/3
BIT Paper 1
All the questions are evenly distributed, so there are not chances for you to skip any chapter. So work hard on these important chapters!
Berry Important Topics:
- Chapter 2 – Cell Structure and Cell Organisation
- Chapter 3 – Movement of Substances across the Plasma Membrane
- Chapter 6 – Nutrition
- Chapter 10 – Transport
- Chapter 12 – Coordination and Response
- Chapter 13 – Reproduction and Growth
- Chapter 14 – Inheritance
All of these topic that I have mentioned are Berry Berry Important Topic, so do not ever think to skip these BIT! 
Not so important topic (with only an average 2 questions every year):
- Chapter 5 – Cell Division
- Chapter 7 – Respiration
- Chapter 11 – Support and Locomotion
- Chapter 12 – Variation
Totally not important (zero questions each year)

- Chapter 14* – Inheritance
- Chapter 15* – Variation

BIT Paper 3

@ kk – Based on a mixture of past year analysis, other state’s trial paper and teachers’ analysis of what constitute hot topics. Although we won’t be publishing our calculation algorithm anytime soon.

Ayo..my student said Paper 2 Bio SPM quite difficult. The topic appear are:
Q6: Inheritance
Q7: Dynamic ecosystem
Q8: Transport
Q9: Nutrition

@ Cikgu Dira – Thanks for your feedback. I have not managed to get my students’ feedback on this paper. But hopefully even if the Paper 2 for Bio was difficult, I still hope and think that they can handle it. Seemed like the prediction was somehow accurate for bio SPM also.. hehe… anyway, thanks for posting the tips/prediction on your blog.

@ Qis – Thanks for dropping comment. I still do not have the biology paper to do the analysis for the accuracy of the tips. Is it really 5 % accuracy? According to Cikgu Dira, I have at least 4 topics that came out, so I guess it could be more than 5% as you have said.
