For Berry Readers who are in or will be studying Form 6 STPM in Johor Bahru, this post might be of interest to you. Some students have wrote in to request for the list Form 6 schools in Johor Bahru. So the list of science stream and art stream form 6 schools are as follow:

I’m hoping to get accepted and I’m worried that I don’t..Normally what kind of results will be accepted to Form 6?

@ Michelle – it depends on the stream, location, results and some other factors. Which stream and location are we talking about? I’ll try and gather some information on it.

I’m from science stream in my form 5. I’m currently living at Semenyih which i suppose provides me only one choice which happens to be Kajang High School.

@ rachel – Unfortunately, none of the Berry Team Members are familiar with ‘private school’ in kl/pj that offers form 6. I would like to open this question to all reader, hopefully anybody who knows this can answer.

hai,if i wanted to be a teacher in the future,except maktab what are the others way?should i enter form 6?

@ leexuan – I assume that you are an SPM-leaver. Anyway, non-maktab route includes going to the university and obtain a degree in education. The BerryBerryTeacher did her Science in Education Bachelor’s degree in UM. So you don’t have to go through maktab.
We also have examples of teachers coming from other disciplines such as engineering. (Although some training is probably required. Will reconfirm on this again)
So whether you want to do Form 6 or not, it will depend on the path you want to take.
BerryBerryTeacher’s pathway to become a teacher: Form 5 -> Form 6 -> UM’s Science in Education bachelor’s degree -> Proceed to Master’s degree in Education in UM again -> Become full-fledge teacher.

do u got any List of Form 6 Schools in the Selangor/KL? thanx.. olso, if u got any, can u tell me which school provide hostel and hav any art stream. BTw i leave at in ampang.

@ ain – at the moment we do not yet have the list. We’ll contact our friends in ampang to make the query, so do check out this spot if there is any updates. No guarantees though.

@ jessie – Information regarding Batu Pahat is rather hard to come by as we do not have any contacts in BP. We’ll try to get external help regarding this question. But as usual, we cannot guarantee being able to answer questions which we do not have contacts for.
