The list of schooling days and school holidays for 2011 is out. So for those who are planning for holidays, or need to book hotel to avoid peak seasons, look no further than the Takwim Sekolah 2011 posted here in Berry Berry Easy.

Takwim Sekolah 2011 / Cuti Penggal Sekolah Malaysia 2011 – School Holidays in Malaysia 2011

As usual, the school days are different for the different groups (states) in Malaysia, where Group A is comprised of Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu, while Group B is populated by states and federal territories such as Perlis, Pulau Pinang, Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, Pahang, Sabah, Sarawak, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan, Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya.

School days amount to 288 days while term holidays total at 78 days. Not too bad as it is like having a school term break day for every 4 schooling days. Students should not complain anymore.

Kumpulan A (Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu)

School Days 2/1 – 10/3 50 days
Holiday (Cuti Pertengahan Penggal I) 11/3 – 19/3 9 days
School Days 20/3 – 26/5 50 days
Holiday (Cuti Pertengahan Tahun) 27/5 – 11/6 16 days
School Days 12/6 – 25/8 55 days
Holiday (Cuti Pertengahan Penggal Penggal II) 26/8 – 3/9 9 days
School Days 4/9 – 17/11 55 days
Holiday (Akhir Tahun) 18/11 – 31/12 44 days
Total (Jumlah) 288 days

Kumpulan B (Perlis, Pulau Pinang, Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, Pahang, Sabah, Sarawak, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan, Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya)

School Days 3/1 – 11/3 50 days
Holiday (Cuti Pertengahan Penggal I) 12/3 – 20/3 9 days
School Days 21/3 – 27/5 50 days
Holiday (Cuti Pertengahan Tahun) 28/5 – 12/6 16 days
School Days 13/6 – 26/8 55 days
Holiday (Cuti Pertengahan Penggal Penggal II) 27/8 – 4/9 9 days
School Days 5/9 – 18/11 55 days
Holiday (Akhir Tahun) 19/11 – 1/1 44 days
Total (Jumlah) 288 days
